FOR INVESTORS

A defined-duration instrument with independently verified outcomes.

The I-TEC Impact Pilot offers impact investors and DFIs a structured entry into the e-waste sector with a clear financing mechanism, measurable outcomes, and a repayment model anchored to verified certificate sales.

THE INSTRUMENT

Blended finance with a closing mechanism.

Concessional capital from investors funds processor formalisation, certification, and social impact measurement across three facilities in Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria. As facilities achieve certification milestones, I-TEC Impact Certificates are issued and sold to corporate buyers. Certificate revenues provide the repayment mechanism.

The programme is structured to be financially self-sustaining once at scale. Investor capital is the enabling layer, not the permanent subsidy.
